Halloween may be over, but this morning terror took over your Comcast TV production team’s office!

As you may recall, in November the team took a week long trip to film in the Keys. One of the pieces that Jason (producer) is putting together highlights an old Key West tale of Robert the Doll, and would you believe who mysteriously showed up in the office this morning?

Robert.

As the story goes, there lived in Key West, the Otto Family; they had many servants that they mistreated. One of the servants is said to have been trained in voodoo; he crafted a doll for the Otto son, Gene who took to the doll right away. However, soon after taking posession of the doll, strange things began to happen. Furniture was found turned upside down, a strange voice was heard speaking to Gene when he was alone in his room, and people in the streets said they saw Robert the Doll jumping from window to window watching them.

It is believed that Robert, who lives in the Key West Martello Museum, is still up to his old michevious tricks… and now he is haunting our Miramar office!

If you’re feeling a little nervous about rushing down to meet Robert eye-to-eye at the Martello Museum, you can test out the waters by watching footage the brave Comcast producers took for you. It will begin airing on Ch. 1 On Demand under “Get Local” very shortly.

In fact, you’ll be able to catch all of our Key West footage – some scarier, some not scary at all on Ch. 1 On Demand >> Get Local over the next couple of weeks. Feel free to follow us on Twitter to stay up to date.
